HOLEE GAMOLIEES BATMAN!!!

SHIT DAMN MOTHERFUCKER. Who reads my page?
Oh well, I'm not complaining.

Tommorow is a very, very, very big game in the mind of all Toronto sports fans, as the Toronto Maple Leafs battle the Carolina Hurricanes in game 6 of a series they trail 3-2...GO LEAFS GO!

Secondly, I the super king of ravenloftrocks.com firmly place my chips and soccer/football faith in England.
God save the queen. God bless that team.
I have no idea what they're chant is supposed to be...I'm not even British. My name is a British name thought No, not Ravenloft...but my real name.

Gonna have three new articles straight from the brain of Ravenloft, those being, Token Expectations, Cell Phone Slavery and an article to be named later...heck I'll even throw in an article by vitaminjay and a mystery writer who wishes to remain anonomous.

All that and more next month.
Be there or be square.
You don't wanna be looking the fool.

Disney Princesses
Which of the Disney Princesses are you?

Take

If I were a boy band I would be...

N*Sync

This quiz was created by Krazy K. Take it here!

Dammit Kris! Sending all those quizes has taken up a lot of blogging time. So, to my faithful blog junkies, blame her.

Dammit, there were garage sales a plenty yesterday...yet, all i could get was 3 starwars figs for 15 cents, 2 batman figs for 10 cents, a big foam hockey puck hat that says Edmonton Oilers [2 bucks], a classic 12" vinyl of Afrika Bambata's Planet Rock [1 dolla] and a nice metal filing cabinet which cost me 8 dollars. Hopefully next week, I find a lot more toys.

I really need to cut my toenails...

working like a dog.
actually i haven't. I can't lie.
Haven't been doing much at work. So, it's all good in the hood.
That is why no one has seen me online in a while.
Now, if you will.

Don't disconnect me Blogger for I have been offline.
It has been 4 days since my last entry and these are my thoughts.

I finally finished typing up my comic book script and hopefully RJ can finish the artwork by late July, so we can have to comic book out by August. We still need to reserve a table as well...jammit.
We need to be ready for the comic convention this year, and not have a table, just to sit down. This year we'll be ready.
While the comic isn't a classic like The Watchmen or Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, by any means it sure as hell isn't a lame ass attempt at superheroics. There promises to be character development, a non insulting plot, and of course cool art work.
Since I'm not clubbing w/the dudes today, I have no clue what to do.
Well, I must get ready for work now...it's gonna rain and there looks to be nothing to do today.

Great to be back home!
After spending a weekend down in Niagara Falls visiting my cousin, who has regained slight movement in her right side. :)
My family and I ended up going state side, doing the regular shopping thing in Buffalo, NY.
For some reason we felt really tired...ended up only hitting 2 malls. The trusty factory outlet and the Walden Galleria.
Sales at the outlet sucked the big one...i ended up getting some summer gear from Old Navy for only 30 bucks, while my dad and I pooled our resources to purchase a tonne of toys.
Surprisingly they let us go back to Canada minus any inspection.
Life is good.
Except when the Leafs lose...2-1 in overtime. Oy.
Well nothing beats winning 50 bucks in one's first time gambling in a casino. Shit, I'm rocking in slots...and well oddly enough I won playing some spinning money wheel game...hit the jackpot suckas!
I think i need to go back...maybe for my birthday next year...
Gather, 20 or so of my buds...have a picnic in the gardens by the whirlpool, chill downtown, and eventually cross the border after some good gambling.
Doc is in the house, OMG danger!

huh? blogging too much?
yes.
didn't i say that in the last post? more then likely i did.
I'm feeling really really fucking sick. Yet, I will still will myself to cross the border tommorow and shop in Buffalo, NY.
Random rambles: WATCH STARWARS, READ DC COMICS' WATCHMEN by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, and...well thats it.
My mind hurts, and I need 10 more pages in order to finish the comic script.
Shit.

i've been blogging outta control lately.
speaking on political issues, angst against a certain multi-billion dollar company, love life, and just whatever crosses my 20 year old mind.
Right now, I'm feeling very ill.
Yet, I am still awake. Like there's something willing me to stay up.
I have no idea what it is.
I didn't even get a chance to complete the comic book script, that I've been slaving over.
Shit.
Well, Smallville was once again the highlight of my television viewing on Wednesdays.
This whole love triangle of Clark, Lana and Chloe is quite good.
Makes me have those stupid smirks when I come upon thinking about it. Little romances in stories and movies have always been interesting to me.
Movies like The Wedding Singer and Chasing Amy, or television shows like Smallville or Beverly Hills 90210, and heck even cartoons like Digimon or He-Man have elements of love in them.
From Robbie and Julia, to Holden McNeil and Alyssa Jones, to tv's Clark Kent, Lana Lang and Chloe Sullivan, and the whole mess of relationships in 90210, even venturing out as far as Tai and Sora or Prince Adam and Teela.
Every great story has some element of sexual tension, and I'm a sucker for it.

So, I'm 20 already.
Yesterday was my birthday.
Being 20 rocks the casbah.

It's been great receiving notes on Asianavenue.com, especially from old friends one hasn't chatted with in a while, namely my old BK buddy Doris from the 204.
If i remember correctly, today is also the day her brother was born.

It's always great to chat w/old friends again.
Remember...
Never be a stranger people.
An old article about friends

Geez, I'm going to be 20 tommorow.
No plans whatsoever, in regards to celebrating this event.
Guess some things never change.
I had a cool convo with an old friend of mine named Karen, a day or so ago, and for the most part, we picked up right where we left off. I poke fun at her, and she tries to counter. If', I'm becoming too nice, she lets me know and we continue the battle, all the whilst just talking about our day and what's new in life.
It's nice to know that friends can still be friends, even after two years have past.

Maybe, I'll talk about politics. Not just anything though, Canadian Politics, and more in regards to the OPSEU strike and the Progressive Conservative Party aka PC.
Formerly, the PC govn't was ruled by some jackass named Mike Harris. He loved to cut, cut, cut whereever he felt there needed to be a cut.
He saw welfare and he made cuts there, he saw health care and made massive cuts there, heck, he looked at the books and figured education shouldn't receive that much money and he cut there as well.
Now that was 6 years ago. Somehow, people still voted for him and he was re-elected based on his "Commonsense Revolution", which, is basically just a nice way to say, "Heartless Cuts".
Did he care about the welfare of others? To put it bluntly, no he did not.
Families upon families across the once great province of Ontario, felt the cuts, whether they went on strike [like my parents did, not just once, but twice], or maybe their education seems to be a bit lacking now, they can't cash in their welfare checks, nor can they go to a hospital and find a suitable hospital bed.
No one really feels it, until they either go on strike, or have an emergency, only to be turned away by a hospital due to lack of medical staff and money.
Now, where pray tell, are this medical staff? Well, they've headed down south, where they're being paid a lot more, and where hospitals seem to have more funding.
Oh, did I mention the Walkerton Tragedy?
Guess not.
You see, during the summer of 2000, 7 people died of ebola. YES, ebola, a virus that shouldn't even be found in Canada.
But, here it was, killing the people of this northern Ontario township. It was due to OCWA [Ontario Clean Water Agency] that was stationed up there. They ran a shoddy opperation. You see, a long time ago, there was no O.C.W.A., just the Ministry of Environment. The Ontario Government, was once solely responsible for it's drinking water, in each and every township.
Then Premier Harris decided, lets cut the deficit, by selling Ontario property to his 'friends'. Business friends.
So, he did. Looking back, it was a pretty stupid decision. Did he have knowledge that Walkerton County was in trouble? There's reasonable doubt that he did, but geez, he's the one who sold Ontario's water in the first place, so, he should take some blame. He says, it wasn't he who looked over certain documents, he got someone else to do so...which also means, that he basically doesn't do much.
Yet, he can give himself and his cabinet a raise...a raise of 36.6%. While the real people who do his job for him, the public servents are greatly underpaid, in regards to market value.
I'd love to be in the hospital one day, a hospital where former Premier Mike Harris would be. He should have already had a heart attack and should be awaiting treatment. I'd love for him to feel what it's like waiting...waiting for a hospital bed. Due to lack of staff and lack of funding, I'd love to hear him complain, and to eventually eat his words. Every passing second that he is in pain, I'd love to be empathic and just soak up his pain like sunrays hitting the suntanner. To bask in his pain, would certainly bring a smile to my face and many, many, others who were hurt in someway or another by his cold politics.
The media may try to defend, this former elementary school teacher and his former PC party, but I'm taking a stand right now.
He forgot, that some people, just like elephants never forget. Most of the teens affected by the school strikes are now eligible to vote.
It doesn't matter that his PC party elected a new leader, the party still has the same blood stains and when I vote, my mark will not be beside anyone who runs alongside the PC party.

It's great to be around family.
It's great how family, when the gauntlet is thrown down, they'll be right there beside you.

Right now it's great that my cousin is out of the hospital and doing well.

I haven't really had time to relax for quite a while.
It's a welcome occurance.
